In the water sector, IDRF is building solar and traditional water wells to benefit 80,000 Yemenis, preventing major diseases and contributing to healthier farming and agriculture. With the ongoing problems of cholera and polio outbreaks, IDRF is also providing emergency water relief to the most affected communities in Yemen.

    Economic Development

IDRF is improving the economic development sector by delivering a Respiratory Therapy Training program for 100 nurses in Mukalla city. This program will train nurses in specialized respiratory care to increase the number of trained and certified respiratory therapists by 10% in the first year of implementation.
