We believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives and break the cycle of poverty. Sadly, millions of underprivileged children in Pakistan face significant barriers to obtaining a higher education. Approximately, 22.8 million children aged 5 to 16 are out-of-school, with many unable to attend due to financial constraints.
In response, the Professional Education Foundation (PEF) is dedicated to providing access to higher education for underprivileged students in Pakistan. PEF is committed to empowering Pakistani youth by providing financial assistance to bright and deserving students who have gained admission to a professional university in Pakistan but cannot afford to pay their fees.

Sadia's story
Sadia, the first person in her family to attend university, is one of the many success stories that PEF has helped create. She was selected for one of the most prestigious and competitive programs by Harvard Business School, made possible to the financial support provided by the Professional Education Foundation.
“Without their support, perhaps I would not have been able to continue my studies and like many other young girls with a lot of dreams and ambitions in mind, my life would have been totally different today. I am extremely thankful to PEF for supporting me in the dark times and not letting my dreams fade.”
Our goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams of becoming a doctor, engineer, or business executive. We work with 41 professional universities across Pakistan to select the most talented and financially deserving students. We don’t discriminate on any basis and believe that every student should have an equal chance to succeed.
