An estimated 509,000 people in parts of South Sudan and Ethiopia (Tigray) are in-need of immediate life-saving humanitarian food assistance.
There is a high burden of malnutrition that exists across East Africa.
In these areas, the main reasons as to why their is high levels of food insecurity is due to climate, political conflict, economic instability, and the effects of COVID-19.
