Hasan and Yusuf are two best friends living together in an orphanage in Kilis, Turkey. They lost both of their parents due to the war in Syria.
“We had to learn about the war before we learned to walk and talk,” said Hasan. Hasan and Yusuf explained how they don’t even know their real names and were given their names when they were brought to the orphanage. This year, Hasan and Yusuf participated in fasting for the first time.
Thanks to generous donations from you, they were able to participate in their first Ramadan with a hot meal waiting for them at every iftar.

Although our real names and date of birth are not known exactly, there is one thing we will never forget is IDRF’s green colour and the aid we received this Ramadan.
