Position Summary:

L2L is seeking a strategic, results-driven, and relationship-focused L2L Philanthropy and Grants Manager to lead fundraising efforts and support the continued growth of our educational programs. Reporting directly to the Director of Programs, this role is responsible for identifying, securing, and stewarding diverse revenue streams, including corporate sponsorships, foundation funding, government grants, and individual giving. This position plays a critical role in expanding L2L’s impact, strengthening donor partnerships, and ensuring the organization’s long-term financial sustainability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with L2L’s mission, values, and growth objectives.
  • Research, identify, and secure new funding opportunities from corporate, foundation, and government partners.
  • Lead grant writing, proposal development, and reporting processes in collaboration with program and finance teams.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust donor and prospect pipeline using CRM tools to track engagement and outcomes.

 

Relationship Management

  • Cultivate, steward, and strengthen relationships with donors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
  • Represent L2L at meetings, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility and partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate and support donor engagement initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and special events.

 

Revenue Growth & Impact

  • Establish, monitor, and report on ambitious fundraising targets, with an emphasis on growing unrestricted and multi-year funding.
  • Develop compelling pitch decks, impact reports, and donor communications that clearly articulate program outcomes and organizational impact.

 

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with the communications team to align fundraising initiatives with branding and storytelling efforts.
  • Contribute to organizational strategic planning, budget development, and annual reporting processes.
  • Champion L2L’s mission, values, and ethical standards in all internal and external engagements.

Qualifications & Competencies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, business development, or partnership management, preferably within the non-profit, education, or social impact sector.
  • Demonstrated success in securing major gifts, grants, and/or corporate sponsorships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and project management abilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Passion for youth development, education, and equity-driven programming.
