Through mediums like painting, drawing, and collage, participants will have the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
Join us with Annie Hussain, M.A., who will guide you through exercises that not only foster self-discovery but also encourage solidarity and connection with others who share a passion for this important cause. No artistic experience is necessary—just an open heart and a willingness to engage creatively.
All proceeds go to Palestine and supplies are included.
What is art therapy?
Art therapy is a counseling approach that uses art-making as a vehicle for communication and self-expression. Thoughts and feelings may be explored both visually and verbally, within the safety and trust of the therapeutic relationship. Art therapy utilizes mediums such as painting, drawing, collage and sculpture to creatively explore themes such as identity, past or present experiences, interpersonal relationships, hopes, fears, and more.
