Breaking barriers in insurance
This program is a collaborative effort between Zurich Insurance Canada, Marsh McLennan, and The Centre for Young Black Professionals (CEE), designed to create meaningful career pathways for young women in the insurance industry.
While progress has been made in gender diversity, with women now representing approximately 60% of the overall insurance workforce, a 2021 study by the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW) and McKinsey & Company revealed that fewer than 30% of executive positions are held by women.
This program aims to bridge that gap by providing the training, mentorship, and opportunities needed to support the next generation of industry leaders.
