Arabic Calligraphy Workshop with Nabila Elahi
Join us for a night of imagination and creativity as IDRF hosts a calligraphy workshop with Nabila Elahi.
Nabila Elahi is a self-taught Arabic Calligraphist. She started learning and creating artwork at 19 years-old. Nabila creates custom Arabic Calligraphy orders for people, while also providing workshops and hosting events for small and large groups to teach people how to become a creator of their own Arabic or Islamic Artwork.
Join us on March 5th at Cooper Masjid, Mississauga, Ontario, as we reignite the inner artists within you. Supplies will be provided, and proceeds from the event will be going towards building a water well in Pakistan.
Pakistan is currently set to be facing severe water scarcity by the year 2040. 80 percent of people living in 24 major cities within Pakistan, do not have access to clean water.

Indoor Soccer Cup Surrey
IDRF will be hosting a 5 vs 5 men’s soccer tournament to raise funds to build a water well in East Africa.
Bring your best players to ring in the new year, and join us on December 31 and January 1. Spots are limited to 10 teams in total. The tournament will include 25 min games with at least 2 games guaranteed.

East Africa is experiencing the worst drought to hit the region in 60 years. Water resources in East Africa are incredibly scarce and are not managed correctly in the region. Due to the effects of climate change, such as common droughts and flooding, water sources are either contaminated or dry. You and your team could help make a collective change today.
