Basketball Tournament
Get your basketball gear on! IDRF, in partnership with Markham Masjid, will be hosting a 4vs4 men’s basketball tournament to raise funds for the Horn of Africa Famine Relief.
Bring your best players and come join us on Mar 6th at Markham Masjid. Spots are limited to 8 teams in total. The tournament would be between 8 teams structured in a double-elimination style bracket.
You will be contacted after your RSVP for team registration, attendees, and how to create your own fundraisers.
The Horn of Africa is on the brink of catastrophe as more than 13 million people face severe hunger amidst one of the worst droughts since 1981.
The drought has destroyed more than 1.5 million livestock and drastically cut cereal production. Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya are the most significantly impacted.
Every Hoop Counts to win a tournament.
