Masjid al-Aqsa is one of the most significant religious sites in Islam, located in the Old City of Jerusalem. During the month of Ramadan, Muslims from all over the world flock to this mosque to attend prayers and break their fasts (iftar) together.

This year, as the crisis reaches an unprecedented high in Gaza and the West Bank, the people of Palestine need our support more than ever before. In the West Bank, families are facing relentless raids, economic crisis, and are grieving the loss of their loved ones. In this time of unspeakable distress, let us do our duty, and stand by our brothers and sisters.

Why Give Iftars?

Giving iftar to those who attend prayers at Masjid al-Aqsa is considered an act of great virtue and reward in Islam. It is not only a means of fulfilling religious obligations, but also an opportunity to extend charity and generosity to the less fortunate.

For many people who attend prayers at Masjid al-Aqsa, particularly those who are poor or homeless, the iftar provided by the mosque or by charitable individuals is their only source of food and sustenance during Ramadan. Your donation can help ensure that these individuals have access to food and can observe the rituals of Ramadan with dignity.
