The Gaza Strip faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, impacting livelihoods and access to essential services of its two million residents.
The Situation
The humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip has left residents with an unemployment rate of 50%
- Agriculture (a critical sector of Palestine’s economy) has faced devastating consequences as a result of the crisis.
- Economic conditions caused by the Israeli blockade has devastated 30,000 families among farmers, herders, and fishermen.
How you can help
With your donations, we will provide the farmers of Gaza with all the necessary agricultural inputs to restore the productivity of their farms. This project will ensure these farmers have a source of recurring income to support themselves on an ongoing basis.
The Impact
We will help these farmers with:
- Land preparation
- Irrigation networks
- Tilling/Planting
- Provision of Fertilizers
- Rehabilitate 144 dunums (36 acres) of farmland.
- Provide 72 farmers with necessary agricultural equipment
